Tool-to-help-you-Grow-your-network-in-Linkedin

Some of the entrepreneurs from my circle are asking me which tools I'm using to help me grow my network in LinkedIn. So, here are some of the tools which I think are most effective based on experience.

1. Signature

One way to help get more connections is as simple as adding a customized LinkedIn signature to your email. Click here to get step-by-step directions, including design options. This is compatible with Outlook, Outlook Express and Mozilla Thunderbird.

2. Mobile app

Apple has a downloadable app for its own products as well as a universal app. It works on iPhones, BlackBerry, Android and Palm devices.

3. Outlook Social Connector

The beauty of this program is that it allows you to use Outlook to keep track of what’s going on with your connections on LinkedIn, as well as those on other social media platforms. Activity is displayed in Outlook’s People Pane, which is located at the bottom of each opened (or previewed) message. Note: If you’re on a Microsoft Exchange Service, this function must be enabled for it to work.

4. TopLinked.com

This site is designed to help you boost the growth of your connections across many sites, including LinkedIn, Google+, Facebook, Twitter and many others. You can get a free LinkedIn download (called the “Invite Me” list); otherwise there is a fee of $10 a month or $50 a year.

After Knowing the above tools to grow your network in LinkedIn, try one of them now and see the difference. Remember, with that there are so many tools now a days that we can use and the search and knowledge is never ending.

Try them one at a time and take advantage of them, and feel free to post your thoughts on the comment section below. I would love to hear which tool is favorite or most effective for you.

  12. Now the fun stuff.. once you have it… what do you do with it after. I notice that I have a full sales pipeline in my LinkedIn but haven't decided how best to reach out… email them all each individually… capture their email and send out an email. Hmmm, good stuff to start with. Thanks!
